Merry Christmas

Okay, let’s be honest, there is no way I update
this site again before Christmas; we want to wish
everyone a very Merry Christmas. Going to Disney has
put us way behind on getting all our Christmas stuff
done; so, I really don’t have time to be sitting
here typing a blog entry. However, I did want to get
the November and Disney pictures posted.
I’ve got a whole new website pretty much
ready to go, and I hope to launch it sometime
between Christmas and New Years.
Here’s a list of what’s going on:
-Hudson’s 1st birthday went great
-Thanksgiving was a blast
-We went to Disney world without Hudson; he stayed with Nana and Pop.

Swine flu, Bladder infections, stomach viruses, sinus
infections, ear infections, and common colds,
we’ve had them all. I don’t think I can
remember a time when this whole house was operating at
100% healthy. Outside of the buffet of illnesses,
October and November have been filled with typical fall
activities. A trip to the pumpkin patch, a couple of
Halloween parties, and trick-or-treating.
Hudson will be one in six days. He’s graduated from crawling to climbing, but no walking. He’s happy to just climb on anything he can find. He’ll say Ma-ma or Da-da, and there are some indications he knows what he’s talking about. Most of his talking comes in the form of giggles, grunts, screams, this strange yodeling thing he does, and the occasional pftththththt made by sticking his tongue out and blowing.
Ansley is in the holiday mood. It doesn’t really matter what holiday, she’s into it. She’s moved seamlessly from Halloween to Thanksgiving with some early Christmas excitement. She is VERY excited about seeing all her cousins over the next several weeks. We don’t even try to explain the whole 2nd, 3rd cousin concept -they’re all cousins to her. Of course, the hottest topic of conversation is the pending trip to Disney World -Three weeks and counting. I have to admit, the idea of not having to go to work for 7 days is almost as exciting as Disney World itself. For all those Perdue kin-folk visiting the site, we’ll see you at the normal spot on Thanksgiving Day. For any visitors who live in, or around, the Fayetteville area, we’ll be around from Wednesday night through Tuesday morning. We’d love to see anyone we can.
In the mean time, enjoy the pictures.

Not a lot to report from here. I’ve just posted a
few pictures from September. There are a few
from Nana and Pop visiting and several from our
adventure at “The Big Dig”. The Big
Dig was an event put on to raise money for the
Goodwill giving kids a chance to see all sorts of
construction and service vehicles. The major
attraction is the kids have an opportunity to do
some real work on some serious construction
equipment. Ansley had a blast.
